Portrait of the artist

Beth Zaiken | Artist Biography

Beth Anne Zaiken entered the world on a bright April day in 1986 and (unlike most infants) did so very quietly. She has been intently observing the world around her ever since, fascinated by the many wonderful creeping things, flying things, walking things, swimming things, furry things and scaly things. Beth's work demonstrates great versatility in medium, subject, size and technique. Her murals grace the walls of public buildings and her paintings reside in the collections of many private persons and galleries nationwide.

Beth plans to graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2008, and will go on to pursue her career as a freelance painter, illustrator, and muralist in her homestate of Minnesota.
